We are Denny & Kim Harms and we have been restoring antique and classic cars since we were kids. Both of our families were active with the old car hobby. We grew up spending most of the year getting cars ready for summers full of touring, picnicking, showing, and sharing good times with friends. Kim's dad, Ron, collected and restored vintage cars, and she spent many weekends & evenings in the garage with him. Denny's dad, Ray, spurred Denny's interest by helping him find and buy his first antique car at the age of 15. That was the first of many cars they restored together.

Our purpose at Harms Distinctive Restorations is to return these rare cars back to their factory release detail. We are committed to the research, restoration and preservation of the intricacies of each car. We enlist only the finest craftsmen to assist in our efforts. Our rewarding results are stunning, authentically restored, Concours quality, show stoppers.

As you review this web site, you'll see many examples of this passion, and our commitment to quality and excellence.

We pride ourselves in having preserved our country's history, by saving some very rare Town & Country's, that may have been destroyed or used for parts.

Photo tours are provided of our completed and current restoration projects, parts and cars for sale and other useful links. Please take a look at the "Past Projects" page. You will see both our award winning 1942 and 1947 Chrysler Town & Country's that were sold for World Record prices in 2009. These records are still unparalleled today, and have given us the opportunity to turn our passion into our dream, Harms Distinctive Restorations.

This web site is a tribute to both our fathers, who invested their personal time and shared this passion with us. There was never any compromise to authenticity, detail or perfection, an attribute they taught us both.

We welcome you back again to check on our progress.
